The Democracy Center presents the Los Angeles premiere of Out of the Picture, the first feature-length documentary about art critics to be made in the U.S. The film explores the lives and work of essential writers and thinkers living through a precarious time for art and media.

After the film, join our panelists for a discussion about how to sustain and inspire the next generation of cultural writers in Los Angeles and beyond.
