This event will discuss the history of Japanese American Community Services-Asian Involvement (JACS-AI), a pivotal Little Tokyo social services agency. Although it was established in 1963, its roots date back to 1914, when Rokuichi Kusumoto founded Shonien children's home to provide critical child care for Japanese immigrant families.
