Join a special daylong program that examines Sansei intergenerational trauma and the enduring effects of the wartime incarceration of Japanese Americans. Featuring film screenings and a panel discussion, this program explores how the incarceration experience affected Nisei survivors and the subsequent generation of Sansei.

This program is sponsored by the George and Sakaye Aratani CARE Award, the UCLA Asian American Studies Center, and Keiro.

Due to the heavy nature of the topic, registered attendees will also receive advance access to all four films, allowing them to view the material at their own pace before the program. Certified mental health professionals will also be on site throughout the program.
