Norman Y. Mineta Democracy Plaza Dedication, Reception, and Distinguished Lecture--Overflow Seats for Simulcast

JANM is proud to commemorate Secretary Mineta’s extraordinary legacy, his lifelong commitment to democracy, and his profound impact on the Museum by naming the Museum's historic plaza in his honor and by launching the Norman Y. Mineta Distinguished Lecture Series. Our inaugural speaker is the Hon. Mitch Landrieu, former Senior Advisor to the President and former Mayor of New Orleans. 

Seats for the lecture in the Tateuchi Democracy Forum are sold out. A limited number of overflow seats for a video simulcast in JANM's Pavilion are available while supplies last. Visitors with overflow tickets may join a stand-by line for lecture seats in the event they become available.
