Memory & Monument-Making: Repairing our Racial Karma (VIRTUAL)
The Japanese American Confinement Sites Consortium (JACSC) and USC Shinso Ito Center for Japanese Religions and Culture (USC Ito Center) will host a joint conference at JANM and virtually. With the theme of Memory & Monument-Making: Repairing our Racial Karma, the conference focuses on the makers of monuments and how they conceive of memory, especially when memorializing difficult historical events.
The All Online Sessions package includes all conference sessions on September 23 and 24, and the JACE/JACS informational session on September 24. Your will receive a link to access the virtual sessions online via email. To register for individual days and sessions, choose "Show Individual Events."
JACSC members, please register separately to attend the Business Meeting virtually on September 23 here.
